About Math Skill Builder

Strong basic math skills are critical for children to succeed in math. Our completely free program helps your child become confident in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, greatest common factor (GCF), least common multiple (LCM), fractions and basic algebra. Math Skill Builder uses jokes to motivate students develop the most complicated math skills with fun.

Math Skill Builder is designed for schools and for families. There is no need to share your e-mail and password with your students. You will get an activation e-mail with details.

Memorize the Multiplication Tables

This activity is designed to memorize the multiplication tables. Students will learn their facts one by one starting from the easiest ones. Normally kids are able to learn their facts during 1-2 months spending 6-10 hours in all. Daily practice is very important. It is better to practice 15 minutes every day than several hours once a week.

Please note that practicing is different from the memorization. By memorizing, students create multiplication and division skills, by practicing - they master them. When the memorization of the multiplication tables will be finished, start practicing multiplication and division to continue to master the skills.

Addition and subtraction practice

Multiplication and division practice

We recommend to practice all facts, our program pays more attention to weaker areas, so training tasks will be adjusted for the student's needs.

Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM)

The Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM) skills are important for success with fractions. Our online program helps to master GCF, LCM mental skills.

Fractions practice

• Compare fractions - practice comparing with half and one, using benchmark strategy, comparing fractions with the same numerators or denominators, and making the same strategy.

Removing parentheses practice helps 4+ graders be successful in algebra. Students start with easier facts and move to harder ones as their skills become stronger.

Decimals practice helps to make decimals skills perfect. Students learn what fractions could be converted to decimals; practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of decimals.

Word Problems

Word problems teach children to accept a challenge but also to persevere and use both logic and creative ability combined. Our Word Problems helps 4+ graders master this skill.
